PS2 looks to be the best....for the moment but the X-Box has just dropped down to $199....has better hardware...just doesn't have the games though. But I have heard that Microsoft is dropping a lot more money to promote and sell more X-Boxes....
I personally like the games that are out for the Game Cube but I voted for PS2.

But I just just dislike Microsoft for some strange reason. I really do.

I personally like the games that are out for the Game Cube but I voted for PS2.

Consoles shld be decided upon what kind of games you feel for, rather than specs or price.

I look for good eye candy so the specs are important b/c of that (better the specs the better the eye candy). I need the GC to drop in price now! (both the X-Box and PS2 have finally done so)

The GC dropped by $50? or costs $50? I would hope for it to cost $50 but I have taken the rose-colored glasses a long time ago.

i did also a handheld becuase there are poeple who prefer gameboy advance over x-box

I reckon at this moment the PS2 - the range of games is excellent.
I feel Nintendo make the best games but there aren't so many available - this will change (e.g. Mario, Metroid, will both be huge sellers once again).
x-Box is most powerful, Halo is meant to be the best game around but it is my belief that their games will be out on PC within a year.
(I have a PS2 and a Game Cube, I have lots of fantastic games for the PS2 and only Luigi's Mansion on the Cube so far).

GBA isn't a console. Period.

Technically but what competition does it have? Is there even a hand held market without the GB? When I think GB I think of it as a portable console.

Gamecube, hands-down. It has the best games. Also, it will last longer. On the bottom of the system are three "expansion ports," and Nintendo can release things like the N64 expansion pack when the GCN starts getting old. Thus, when the time comes, instead of spending $300 for PS3, or some other system, GCN owners will spend around $50 for an upgrade! Less importantly, the controller is much better than the clunky X-Box or awkward PS2 controllers.
