What is the "epic" game?

What is the epic game? I know what the "conquest" is I am already playing Mesopotamia but i have been hearing much about the Epic...

There's already a thread with the same question! "Epic" game is just a standard game with standard rules on a random map, spanning from 4000BC to 2050AD.

I see, sorry, I just wanted to get a fast answer, I didn't know so many already asked so many questions... thanks.

I didn't know how they changed the names of regular games for the while I was gone... wow.

They didn't exactly 'change' the name. They just simply used the term 'epic game' to differetiate the regular game from the specific 'Conquests'.
