I just saw Spidie 3. It is not as good as the second one, which is clearly the best of the lot.

On that note, I watched the first two Spiderman movies the last two days. I can't really blame them if they couldn't up the first two, they were awesome movies.

Spidey 3, was two and a half hours long and it still seemed like the last hour was way rushed, way way way rushed, everything just happened to conviniently fall into place to well.

Spiderman 3 was an efffing emofest of crying. I swear to godamn god there wasnt 10 minutes without a damn crying emotional scene. ARRRRGH! KLERIK SMASH PIECED OF EMO MOVIe.

Venom was also made lame. Where are the wicked teeth and twisted long tongue? Where is his humongous stature!? And his voice!? Damn Erik Forman without any kind of computer dubbing or anything. Why the hell they just didnt make Fez play it then.

Though I confess there were good parts of the movie. Especially when Spidey was kickass with the black suit and even slapped that annoying woman of his. And the blonde was hot too.

I just thought things got to fast and convienient towards the end of it, and i hate that, everythng fell into place all perfect and everything worked out fine. Plus there just wasnt enough backstory on anything.

I watched Disturbia and Red Line.

Disturbia - really good movie. :D
Red Line - if you like rich people who host races with really nice, cool cars and have hot girls everywhere, this is your kind of movie.

I saw Back to the Future again! That's in my top five now.

the prestige.
saw it during the weekend. :vomit:

to compensate i saw KAW.
a grrovy horror flick involving ravens, a village, you know the rest.

if im lucky and i have some free time tuesday, tis both of Clint's latest for me:
Letters from Iwo Jima + Flags of our fathers.
letters is reputed to be better.
ill give a detailed report when i see them.

Did you know he is making another Dirty Harry movie? friggin cool.

I saw Motherloving Snakes on a Motherloving plane yesterday. It sucked teh ass.

I saw In The Army Now from 1994, starring Pauly Shore again.
I remembered it to be better, goes to show how much I knew back in 1994. :yeah:

I know the feeling all too well  I can guarantee that the combination of being allowed to watch almost any movie since the age of 10 and being of that age at the mid 80's is a combination that allows one to be embarrassed of one's stupidity. I find it utterly amazing that movies like Revenge of the Ninja and The New Barbarians were actually some of my absolute favorites back then. I guess they showed different versions back then

that actually shows you how successful i am at blocking out the horrors of modern cinematic achievements.
quite the magician, i am ;)

edit-

girlfriend just walked in with a promo copy of HOT FUZZ
from the cast of SHAUN OF THE DEAD.
should be hilarious to the hilt!

Yeah, It's even worse when you see one of those old movies and discover half your personality is stolen from it. Little things you say and do and so on, only you've been saying those things for so long, you yourself forgot that you stole them from the movies to begin with.

I saw Hot Fuzz just now, and I dont see what all the fuzz is about.
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either, shaun of the dead was much better.

Saw "Picking up the pieces", can't decide what to think, it was OK I guess, the part about "the finger" was great, but a lot of things in the movie where plain irritating.

just saw Shooter, the movie was better than the trailer let me assume, but I bet the book is even better. Not that the movies is wonderful, it's above average, nothing more.

then - a day later - saw Pirates 2 with friends after a bit of poker play ;) I think - as far as I can remember - that it wasn't that bad, just a Disney children movie with more childish gags than anything else, but I thought it was still funny.

Adding myself to the folk who has seen Spiderman 3. I quite liked it, though there were too many villains with very little reason to care for them. Only Harry was the exception, and that's only he's had two previous films of character building. The final battle was exceptionally good, though very predictable.

By far the best cameo of Bruce Campbell though :D

Over the weekend I watched Prison Break, Season 1, episodes 13-22.

Season 2 out on DVD anytime soon?
