My "Goth, etc" playlist is nearing 300 songs and 3 hours. My latest favs:
"Monumental" (2020) by Matte Blvck has a little bit of a Depeche Mode vibe, if you're into them. I've only just discovered this band. I think they're from San Diego. Not full-on industrial, but a little EBM industrial-dance. I listened to some of their other songs, and none of them have made it onto my playlist yet, but this one has gotten a lot of play.
"Dot in the Sky" (2017) by Drab Majesty warms my '80s-alernative-radio heart. Another recent discovery. Wikipedia notes that Deb Demure has cited The Durutti Column and Slowdive as inspirations, and that they used to be in a band with Emma Ruth Rundle. So *fistbump* to them for that.
And a couple of golden oldies recently added to the list: "Wasteland" (1986) by The Mission and "Peep Show" (1994) by Miranda Sex Garden. The Mission are sometimes known as "The Mission UK" because there was another band called The Mission. Note that "Peep Show" is real quiet for about 30 seconds, so don't turn up your volume real loud or it'll knock you out of your chair. I mean, unless you want to get knocked out of your chair.
