What old or new Wonders would you like to see in Civilization VII?

It's considered late gothic, if I'm not mistaken.
That would be the core of the structure, but the entire facade (the only bit visible ingame) is thoroughly neo-gothic with all the typical features.
The generic flying buttresses, those copy-pasted spires, etc. You can see a great example of how this works in Barcelona, where the OG gothic cathedral got overbuilt in a neo-gothic style and added the same sort of features to everything.

Of course Civ is a game that has no idea about architecture or its own passage of time (I mean, stone age Washington should be a decent hint, right?) but since you're clearly at least somewhat interested in these buildings, I thought it might be a fun note/headscratcher for you. Same thing for other wonders you have there, though haven't commented on. St. Vitek cathedral's half was not built until 1800s and... you guessed it, in neo-gothic style. Koutoku-in was housed in a building like its older brother in Nara (Toudaiji, itself a building that went through 3 different iterations) like so, etc.

Fairly sure that's neo-gothic, not gothic.
It is mostly Gothic, mainly in its structural system and spacial layout, as it was mostly built during the late Middle Ages. However, it does have some decorative elements that could be considered Neo-Gothic, as they were made in the 19th and 20th centuries, way after the "original" Gothic period had passed.

What do we think about Carnegie Hall as a wonder?

Banaue Rice Terraces as a really buffed up version of a Terrace Farm

While i'm by no means a STEM guy I'd love to see the return of wonders like the Hubble Space Telescope, ISS or Great Firewall. I think it's important to diversify what can be a wonder. And while I never played Civ 4 myself I like that Hollywood was a wonder. While I know it's hard to implement movies due to copyright issues I think it's important to recognize movies as a form of great work alongside writing, paintings/statues and music. I hope one day we can unlock Great Directors and maybe watch iconic scenes like we hear snippets from great works of music.

Personally, I would nominate Arecibo Telescope (Launches the SETI Program repeatable project, which the host civilization has a production bonus towards), Svalbard Global Seed Vault (Makes sure none of the host civilization's cities ever starve again, no matter the food deficit), and a speculative fusion reactor (Makes every city in the world fully electrified, and provides the host civilization with +1 Influence for every foreign city that would otherwise have a deficit in Electricity)

I'd suggest a ground-based telescope instead as the Hubble or James Webb wouldn't look very exciting on the map...what with not being on the map. :p A radio telescope like the Arecibo that BackseatTyrant recommended might actually look more striking than an optical telescope.

Good picks, just may want to tweak the stats. I think fully powered cities is a bit too op, maybe it just makes all fuel sources more efficient? And for the seed vault if they carry over the desertification mechanic from civ 6 maybe it helps to prevent that?

Maybe if you zoom out enough you could see them orbitting the earth. That or a secondary map is added in the modern era that shows everything in orbit.

Wonders are sometimes abstracted. In Civ 5 you built the Kremlin, but the icon and visualisation used St. Basil's Cathedral for more aesthetically pleasing representation. Likewise Statue of Zeus being the whole temple or Chichen Itza being just the temple.

That said not sure whether there would be satisfying alternate visual representation for sHubble Telescope, but you could maybe find one for Hadron Collider.

It always annoyed me that Machu Pichu was its own wonder when it was also a city name. It was especially silly since the Inca couldn't build on mountains

One thing I think would be cool would be the Reconstructed Globe Theatre.

Could work a couple of different ways. Globe in its own right could be in. Or not. The Reconstruction has made it a far bigger tourist attraction than it ever was in its day (and it was one in its day.)

Alternately, one could make possible a Reconstructed version of any world wonder in the game. There'd need to be a way for Wonders to be lost. But then, in some later age, the society could undertake to rebuild its past glory.

Guggenheim in Bilbao is an appealing-looking modern wonder.

There is already ways for wonders to be lost in (every ?) Civ game : razing an enemy city that has one or several. It would be cool that if we raze those cities, the wonders stay, and could be captured by a settler. I know, that wouldn't be too historical : the colossus, the great lighthouse, the great library, have all been lost due to conquest / natural disasters / lack of maintains ? This last has greatly alternated the pyramids of Gizeh for example. So I'd say that among razing or pillaging (intended fires), wonders could be lost or decay with natural/accidental disasters (city fires) and move of population / change of religion / pillaging / others ?

As to rebuild them, like Notre Dame de Paris has been in a little bit more than 5 years with massive investments, I'd say it might a part of "maintains", as long as the wonder in question has still its justification. (pyramids of Gizeh are not eligible for a reconstruction because everyone forgot them until Napoleon rediscovered them, and the locals didn't care for a long period, especially Muslims. It's quite strange when we think of it (if someone could provide an answer, it would be much appreciated))

The African Renaissance Statue, not only is it the largest statue in all of Africa but it is very beautiful.
