I like to play SPWII, a tactical WWII simulator. Bf1942 mod Forgotten Hope ocassionally. "Achtung Spitfire!" & "Over The Reich" both WW2 tactical level air combat simulators.

No, it's not grammar elitism. And no, I won't go away with a warm, wet feeling down my pants.

Perfectly good jokes are perfect if delivered well. I just found yours to be perfectly good were it not for the abruptness of the delivery.

I play some other ones like Medieval II: Total War, and Europa Universalis III, mainly historical strategy games and such. I like to keep track of some of the industry stuff going on with my blog. Though it's a lot more arcade-like, I will definitely put in some time with StarCraft II when it comes out finally!

I've heard it is good even though it is a bit arcadey compared to Civ IV. It even says RTS which makes it a little bit less than Civ IV but probably still good. Will have to see one day...

IMPERIAL GLORY! 3rd game, Britian, have conquered at least 80% of the European conenent and the game is still going! It's a good game, a bit rough around the edges, but still a relativly good game. But it can't beat Civ IV, NOTHING can even come CLOSE to Civ IV

Axis and Allies is pretty good.

In more or less the order of how much I play them:

Civilization III (classic - I'm still not sure which Civ is my favorite)
    Battlefield 1942
Railroad Tycoon II (more maps, trains, etc. than RT3 or Sid Meier's and fine graphics => better)
Civilization IV (yes, I play CivIII more)
    Battlefield Vietnam (1942 runs better)
    Minesweeper (classic)
Age of Empires III (used to be more than Civ)
Age of Empires II (runs on old machine, also eclipsed Civ at one time)

I used to play The Sims a lot, not really anymore. Tropico also was a favorite that is seldom now played. Same for SimCity3000 and SimTower.

Chessmaster 4000 used to be a favorite but it won't run on my newest PC and I'm too cheap to buy a newer version - not like I'm anywhere close to beating the old one.

    Medieval II TW

    1701 & 1602

That's pretty much it for the computer. I don't generally like rts like the Age series, allthough you might be able to find me screwing around with starcraft 2.

I love to play Civilization 4, Colonization, and The Sims 2! To me, those games are extremely tactical and non-violent!

I used to play on Tallon Zek and then Sullon Zek, but the server died due to lack of population. I guess that's what happens when everyone's killing everyone else...

The Paradox Games (particularly Hearts of Iron and Europa Universalis)
    Total War series
    Silent Hunter 3+4
    Battlefield Series
The various Half-Life games and mods (such as CS and Day of Defeat)

These series pretty much get played in some form or another over the years, along with Civ, though I play dozens of other games as well.
