Why go with modern France? Let's think along the lines of Ancient France/Gaul/Frankish Kingdoms!

Name:Fanaticaul
Noun: Fanaticauls
Adjective: Fanaticauloise

Name: Fanaticallia
Noun: Fanaticelts (last syll. pronounced 'kelts' not 'selts')
Adj: Fanaticallic

Name: Fanatickish Kingdom/Empire
Noun: Fanaticks (add Merolvingian or Carolingian before noun if desried)
Adj: Fanatickish

Name: Holy Fanatican Empire
Noun: Holy Fanaticans (throwback ;) )
Adj: Fanatickish OR Holy Fanatican

Name: Fanatis (pronounced FanatEE)
Noun: Fanatisians
Adj: Fanatisian

And before anyone decides to remind me that the Franks (a la the Frankish Kingdom and the Holy Roman Empire) were Germans, let me say that it was France, not Germany, that ultimately kept the Frankish name. ;)

Pardon me, but I think that is from literature. ;)

We should call ourselves the Freneticans, named after the blistering pace with which we have written our ruleset for this game. :D

Sure, then we can rename ourselves later when we wish that we would have taken more time writting the ruleset!

I think the name should be rather simple and easy to remember. Also, hopefully something that people can pronounce. No suggestions here though.

Welcome back, 40J. ;)

Actually, I like the name Frenetica. It fits all the way around. French Fanatics frenetically forging our future.

Les Mis is one of the best musicals ever written, but it is still based on literature. It's splitting hairs, but I was just having some fun at your comment saying we could base our name on that musical or steal from literature. ;)

And I don't care for spending any more time writing rules for this game. I really don't care what rules we play by at all. I just want to play the game.

Playing the game = Fun ... Writing the rules = Mind-numbing Torture :D
