Recently, flanking bonuses had an adjustment so that the flanking from the defender now cancels out the flanking bonus from the attacker instead of adding its own bonus.
Along with this, people are considering whether flanking bonuses (and the promotions that affect them like Shock) should get some adjustments as well.
