I have this current game going. Im playing on prince as Byzantium. Im playing on a ice age globe and on my island was the celts but i pretty much conquered them, except for a small city on some island somewhere.They capitulated, and gave me code of law.. My island is about full of cities, except some southern corners that have snow.
To the north of me are the Mayans, they are the weakest besides my vassal. They are across some water on a large snaky continent. To the east are the japanese and zulu, and there both very strong.
After some time i invaded the Mayans and took mayapan, laihama, and some other major city. Pretty much leaving the Mayans with 4 cities. The last city gave me iron, and i upgraded the majority of my horses to cataphracts. Im running almost a consistent supply of musketmen, treducets and horce archers(now cataphracts) to the mayans to conquer them. The only resistence from the Mayans were getting hit by some cannons. Shaka then becomes pacals master and declares war on me. Japan which is a monster is the same religion as Pacal, but i supply him with alot of resources. Shaka is the same religion as me. Shaka is now in 1st place with a little more points then me, with pacal as his vassal. Pacal has steel and chemistry, im researching physics, probally switch to replaceable parts though....
I want to finish conquering the Mayans, and hold off Shaka's invasion stacks but i dont want Japan to declare war on me while im at war with Maya and Zulu... Is Pacal going to give Shaka steel and chemistry
Should i finish off the mayan and make peace with the zulu before the japanese declare war on me? or Should i go for a domination victory and take on japan when the time comes? or Should i pay money to have other nations go to war against shaka and wear him down for me while i work on the mayans?
