I won't mention "that one", the one that every boy going through puberty has.

Edit: oops, was meant to be a multiple option poll. Somebody fix that?

Lol, "That one". I voted for the second option.

i've had the one with all my teeth falling out.

mine was like pulling out a giant wad of gum, pink and gooey, with my teeth embedded in it.

apparently the interpretation for this "stereotypical" dream (in Western culture) is that you have a poor self image or low self esteem.

I've had quite a few involving fire trucks but none of the ones you listed.

Flying one quite common enough, also a myriad of school related ones, but not exactly stereotypical. Never a naked one; with school it's usually missing a test (maybe once or twice failing) or procrastinating/being late on a project. Also notable is that the few times I dreamed in another language (Spanish) were naturally school related (the only place I've studied/really used it).

One option that's missing that I heard was common is running/trying to go somewhere but doing so in slow motion (incidentally, this was during a XC season when my knee was hurt, way to be subtle, subconscious!) For me this has never been what most people would call "chased" and I think it's supposed to be separate but you didn't list it.

Mines is unlisted.

Sometimes it's making out with a woman. Sadly, it aint on the list o polls :p.

I frequently dream that I have an exam to write in the next hour and I haven't studied for it, despite there having been 11 years since I graduated uni.

Falling, of course. Often against a backdrop of stars. Other than that, my dreams don't last.

Of your poll, these:

At school/presentation, in underwear/naked (Haven't had that one, since I have grown comfortable with my body)
Chased by somebody (Haven't had that in a while)
Had the power to fly (Haven't had that in a while)
Signed up for a class that I forgot to go to (had it about two or three times)

1 (frequently as a kid, never since), 4 (only some teeth, always the same ones), 5 (again, as a kid and not that often), 8 (recurring, might be due to classes I signed up for and did not go to).

bonus option: you dream of games you played a lot recently (not necessarily video games) or in a language you are intensely trying to learn.

The teeth falling out one!

Well okay they didn't all fall out. They were just on the very tips of their roots and waggly. I looked in the mirror and paniced. A few moments later, I thought to myself "I'm only dreaming. I'm only dreaming. Close your mouth and open to see your teeth normal again." And I did so and they were normal. :D

I've had dreams like that too but I was fighting my bully and my punches were landing in slow motion with no pain to him.

the...real life dream. like...in a dream, i live out the coming day. then i wake up and have to relive it. waking up TWICE sucks. and so much déja vu.

I get the teeth one and occasionally I die/get killed in my dreams. Those are the freakiest, they seem very real, lol.

Hmm, I wonder how the brain determines feelings/sensations/etc in dreams that have never been experienced in real life. Anyone know?

btw, freakiest dream I ever had was dreaming that I was lying in my bed, just as I did while I was dreaming it, dreaming that there was a man beside my bed with a huge cleaver about to skewer me. woke up to the exact same scene I dreamt (sans crazy psycho with a cleaver though it was dark so I was not able to tell). never has my heart raced faster. lay there for I guess five minutes in sheer, abject terror till I dared to move.
