What to do once you start transcendence?

First off, props to Carnage...this latest version of the mod has made playing a 'green' faction a lot more fun and viable. In the past if I was doing well enough as a greenie to succeed, usually I'd win an early religious victory as I converted everyone to Voice of Planet. Now, with religious victory removed, it's much more conducive to an extended transcendence scenario.

I may feel very foolish for asking this later, but would rather ask than go on wondering. So I've reached a flowering counter of 150 or so, just researched Secrets of Alpha Centauri, so I can finally take up the Transcendence civic. Non-greenie factions immediately declared war on me, I understood that much would happen from what I've read of the game.

But...I'm unsure of what to do now. Fight it out until there are no non-transcend factions left? Build a particular wonder? I'm not clear on how to resolve the game at this point, and what my goals should be.

Well, to answer my own question, I went ahead and gave it a shot. Change to transcendence, half the world went to war with me. The next turn was a little tense as some huge armies massed on my borders...then I won. Guess one turn of transcendence when the flowering counter is 100+ is the kicker.

Just FYI for any others out there who might've wondered.

You had me wondering if you hadn't seen the message onscreen that you won a Transcendence Victory.
I've never even seen a Flowering Counter of 150.

We likes our fungus. I mean, we REALLLLLY likes us the fungus.

Actually it was at about 80, we had some affinity gene treatments, and all of a sudden it shot up to 137 or so. So really the grand fight doesn't usually pan out to be much. If you're far enough along to go for transcendence, the fight isn't going to be anything more than a minor annoyance as you're waving goodbye.
