What to do when...

One of your friend declare war upon you and you didn't foresee that? Do you switch all your cities to produce military units or what? I was a friend of Persia but they betrayed me so badly and now there must be something like 20 Immortals at my door!

I would switch a lot of citys to military production, if not all. can you upgrade your units in the citys that they are closest to??? what era are you in??? do the citys that they are near have walls, how many defenders do you have in those cities??

The citys near Persia have 2 pikeman in each... I can't upgrade them to musketeers unfortunately cuz this cities don't have any barrack... For the era i'm in middle ages...

I think I'll switch for military production then... They'll pay for their betrayal!

sounds good, one thing you could do is move a pikemen or 2 from inner cities to the borders, if you can get there in time, mabey rush walls to hinder the advance of the immortals, maybe kill most of them. basicly with the mil production move defence in to repell the first attack, and keep the reinforcements comming to take the places of the one that move to border cities.

P.S. death to persia, I always kill them in my games, and the aztecs!
