We have two main options. Code of Laws and Currency.

What are positive aspects of CoL? It enables Courthouses. Courthouses reduce corruption. Corruption in our game is very significant. Building Courthouses early might help us to reduce corruption. Also CoL is a prerequisite for Republic. CoL is also a tech required to compelete Ancient Age and go to Middle Ages.

What are positive aspects of Currency? It enables Marketplaces which generate additional income (not science). Also, Marketplaces multiply luxuries to a certain extent but are working better on luxuries as a resource (not as a part of income our government decides to share with the citizens) starting from third luxury resources connected. Currency is a required tech to compelete Ancient Age and go to Middle Ages. C3B wants us to research Currency. Not that they would be against CoL but still their priority is Currency.

Other options might be considered as well (but are not included in the poll).

Please vote promptly. Time is running short. We have 2 turns to decide.

I don't think it matters much, if at all. But I voted CoL. Courthouses are slightly more important at this stage of the game then marketplaces. But we won't be building them anyway until the Middle Ages I think.

We currently need courthouses over marketplaces right now.

After thinking, I also have decided that CoL is the way to go.
