Thanks for the comprehensive nudity report everyone. So far the only romantic type movies I've enjoyed have been comedies or have included solid nudity or both. I suppose you can include erotic thrillers in there if they count.
Yes, sometimes people just gather together as a show of force to indicate what are the properly important things in life.
Bridgerton, though, is odd in the sense that while watching it I just could't or still can't pinpoint anything specific what makes it so good. It could be that there's nothing wrong or annoying in it either but I'm not convinced that it alone would make it stand from the rest.
That's totally unlike my previous weird crush Gilmore Girls - it was all about language. Sure there were visuals as nice bonuses etc but I wasn't interested, that much anyway, who did what & where & why things happened etc. I was hungering for the conversations for language - quite possibly the first & only time in a NA TV show. I think I'd have loved the transcripts alone.
I've liked a few of Shonda Rhimes' other shows - Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and Station 19 - and they're all network series, so were restricted in terms of language and nudity, and they were all pretty good. I can imagine they might have benefited from being on a cable network, with a little more freedom, but not necessarily. And those shows all hinge on the women. If any of them would've said "thanks, but no thanks" to a show that asked them to do scenes topless, I'm not sure that would be worth the trade. If you'll pardon a sports analogy, Shonda's a .320 hitter and I wouldn't want to mess with her swing just 'cause she doesn't hit enough homers. Keep doin' what yer doin', woman. (Of course, if any of the women in those shows want to do an R-rated movie for grownups, they have my support. )
Yesterday I logged onto my apple TV and noticed that the interface changed slightly. One of the first options on the landing page was suddenly a list of all the shows I'd been watching, so I can easily continue. I haven't seen that before, so I'm not sure that it's a mere coincidence that it popped into existence last night, or it did simply because I had built up enough stuff I've watched. The latter makes more sense, but at the same time I haven't exactly mixed up what I'm watching any in the last couple days, so it seems that if that's the case, it should have popped up before that. Either way I'm happy that it's now a bit easier to navigate this mess of a streaming service.
I've found For all Mankind reallllly slow, the pacing is boring me a bit. Early S2. So I've switched it up a bit and started watching Ted Lasso as well and have been alternating between both shows. At first I didn't care to start watching Lasso cause I find the premise stupid.. but... I put on the pilot and it wasn't that bad. The premise is still stupid, but I've continued watching and am now on S2.
I just started watching Ozarks with wife. I'm only on season 1 episode 3, but so far... so good. It's kinda like a darker, dramatic (as opposed to comedic) version of Schitts Creek. I already hate all the characters, so... similar vibes.

Apple TV+ has indeed added the "Up Next" queue to its web-based streaming platform.
It still seems like a strange thing to have overlooked, but better late than never. I wonder if they originally planned for the majority of their users to be people with Apple devices and/or people who'd primarily be viewing things on a television? Maybe they're pivoting to being a streaming service to compete with all the rest, regardless of the devices used. They've been hitting the original content hard lately. In addition to shows like Severance and For All Mankind and those Tom Hanks Apple-exclusive movies, I noticed they've bought the distribution rights to some well-received Sundance movies - CODA last year, and Cha Cha Real Smooth this year. Forbessays Apple paid $25m and $15m for those two, respectively, which sounds like a steal, and that Apple reported 4Q21 revenues of $19.5b for Apple Services, although it doesn't break down how much of that was Apple TV+ specifically. Forbes also notes that Apple just signed a "first-look" deal with Skydance Media, from whom they purchased the Foundation series.

This comment is so interesting to me, that I can't resist noting it... but I won't comment on it further than that, because I need to think about it a lot more to decide whether I can say anything that's productive... maybe I can just let the comment stand on its own and leave it at that.
In any case I agree that Bridgerton is a very good show, definitely worth watching. Excellent for watching with significant others.
I think the most nudity is when Benedict goes to that knight's house (I forget his name) and does his paintings, and also the orgy that's hosted there.
Certainly not an excuse for their browser issue, but I've owned an AppleTV box for a few years now. Prior to + they created an integrated TV app for the device that actually works not only with + but all installed TV apps as a one stop shop for keeping up with all your shows. It's actually quite nice. I was surprised as well that the website UI was basically non-existent, until a few days ago.

I, for one, am interested in any & all possible explanations of its greatness. Hopefully on one of these days it'll be revealed to me, too. Not that I'm likely to start a movement around it, anyway.
