What Video Games have you been playing I: My Muffintop Expands!

I have been playing Dark Souls.
I'm currently attempting Lord Gwyn (he is a tricky boss and the final one).

I've had an awful amount of fun with this game. It truly lived up to its billing as one of the hardest ones around. I've had many moments of frustration in Blight Town and against, /shudder, Smough and Ornstein. It is difficult but not overwhelming. Many times a little bit of thought and some patience will see you through the harder moments. Once you overcome the harder moments it is immensely satisfying.

I think the greatest thing about the game is the mystery. You learn snippets of information from talking with NPCS about far away lands, rumours and the like. You build up a picture in your mind about the world but you still don't know exactly whats happening. Once you escape the asylum you are effectively let loose in a world with no direction except for a prophecy. When you combine that fragmented storyline with the excellent music it creates a morbid atmosphere, you talk to computer characters and you feel a sense of hopelessness and doom. Like it is the end of the world. Points of sanctity are few and far in between. There is scarce a moment of safety, you cannot even pause the game.

The combat system is solid is nothing to write home about but it is solid.

I will give this game a 9/10. I recommend it.

Insurgency is basically RO meets CS, healthy mix of traits from both games with new game modes.

I'm back to pokemon emerald. After failing a nuzlocke, I decided to just keep playing, because otherwise my work would be for nothing but suffering.

OPPAN NEW THREAD TIME!
I've heard bad things about burst weapons. Especially since Ian insists on charging the enemy. I think I'm happy with my Hunting Rifle for now. It is quite versatile. And I highly value things that can be used for nearly any situation.
You can change Ian's weapons by trading with him (steal the money or other items from him once you're done), and unfortunately, unlike in Fallout 2, you don't get a Combat Control. You can still give him a non-burst weapon.

Try and get Dogmeat!

Friendly, of couse.
Ultimately, you're going to outstrip every single one of your companions… and enemies. Your armour will improve, your weaponry will improve (my endgame combination was Rocket Launcher and Laser Gatling, much better than Grenades and SMG), and you'll've got quite a fair bit of skill points.

Now that I think about it I really should have taken Good Natured.
Maybe, maybe… the game's very replayable… and in Fallout 2 your character's gender can influence the game a lot.

Are you going to try to capture MissingNO?

Alright, alright. New thread it is.

Are you going to try to capture MissingNO?

As far as I know, missingno can only be caught in the first generation games, whereas emerald is in the third. But I would if I could.

Yeah, that's exactly how I felt about the atmosphere of the game! Added to that is that your character doesn't talk, and you can only communicate via vague orange letters on the ground. And yet, you really feel like you're a part of this world, since your actions seem to have a lasting effect on it.
