It makes your player character go flying into the air. In Skyrim, I once did it in the middle of Markarth and landed on top of the butcher's table. Bloodiest beef in the Reach, indeed. :shifty:

There's a series of videos on Youtube by a modder called Gopher on how to mod Skyrim for complete beginners, from the position that those following the guide know absolutely nothing about how to install mods. These videos are now old, some of the mods and tools mentioned have been replaced with newer equivalents.

Nexus has replaced the Nexus Mod Manager with Vortex

Gopher has a guide on how to use Vortex.

In Skyrim, this is also entirely possible.

Path of Exile: My bow-firing Ranger is in Act 4. I've just reached Lady Dialla down in the mines, which begins the sloggiest slog of the game, for me. Hopefully, I can get through the rest of Act 4 relatively quickly and painlessly. I love Act 5, though, so at least there's something to look forward to.

Ice Shot - Volley Support - Hypothermia Support - Ice Bite Support
Hatred; Herald of Ice; Summon Ice Golem - I think my Crit Strike Chance with the bow is around 31% and I get a lot of things exploding with Herald of Ice

    Animate Weapon; Artillery Ballista; Dash

I think this is the first time I've had any trouble with Dominus at the top of the Sceptre of God.

No, it's very outdated and lacks some features. Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex are just as easy to use.

I find it perfectly fitting that someone lamenting the confusion of mod choice and mod load is met with confusion about mod management. Even the premier mod service can't get mod management figured out.

"Which mods do I get? There are so many that do the same thing. How do I load them and make sure they're compatible?"

"If you need help managing your mods, get NMM!"

    "No! Get NMM2!"

    "No! Get Vortex!"

Maybe we should ask the mods for their input. :mischief:

OK, I must ask people's permission to use their stuff… I must interact with overeager modders. *takes a deep breath*
btw discussion of this particular game which you mention is frowned upon on this site

I've tried most and I gotta say for Skyrim modding there is nothing like Mod Organizer 2. That tool does everything, all others can be built-in, it's smooth and extremely useful once you get into changing a lot of the game.

After some time, you can rewrite the .ini by head, navigate all folders without thinking, spend hours on the CK and still not play the game because it's not good yet

I'm actually so close to making Skyrim a good game, it'll only be a few more weeks I feel. The last two days I played a bit and it was super fun. Very difficult, tactical, with great combat. I'll share the alpha version of my mod when I'm done, I hope people will still be playing Skyrim by then :D

I actually heard from someone that Vortex is more advanced and up to date (can't really judge myself, but one thing I liked - and that MO2 doesn't have - was that it gives you a list of all conflicts in your mods and lets you choose which one overrides the other, which is super helpful when you have like three hundred).

I think I've done that for days.

Sure, I bought Oldrim (in order to play Enderal) so I'll be sure to try it out!

In Fallout 3, I ran into a yao guai out in the middle of nowhere. I shot it with my hunting rifle in VATS and it flew up into the sky. I couldn't find where it landed. :crazyeye:

I have some stuff in progress:

Civ4 as the Babylonians, a new NMS campaign where I'm seeing how cool my new machine really is and finding that Hello Games is still cranking out a steady stream of free improvements, the beginnings of an X4 Foundations game that I may abandon as a learning experience so I can start over...

But what I really have going on is the pending start of my third game of CFC Mafia. #newobsession
