i hope that comment about the theory of evolution was just sarcasm.
for anyone who doesn't know, the Theory of Evolution was written by the Englishman, Charles Darwin, after a visit to the Gapologas Islands (i know, bad spelling) and his observation that all the creatures on the islands were similar, but not identical.



Anyone got any ideas we could apply in mods for more wonders - e.g new modern wonder Human Genome Project - benefit could be Research based for now (nothing specific yet - but one possible idea is for HG to give benefit of SETI project, and SETI to become Research Lab in every city cf Civ 2)

Well, don't forget about Austria. The theory of evolution is based on darwin's natural selection...the 2 basic criteria for natural selection is selective reproduction and heritability. Darwin explained how selective reproduction would cause evolution, but Gregor Mendel supplied the other half of the theory, and he was austrian. You could even give a bit of credit to Watson and Crick I think....
