For me my to do list is currently(after it is already to play)

    1) Play a nice long game as the First Nations on noble difficulty to see how good the AI is.

    2) Play final frontier

    3) Play Fall From Heaven

    4) Play WWII: Road to War

    5) Look at other Scenarios and play one the looks good or play the the one I had the most fun with.

I bet the first thing most will do when they get it is one of two things:
    a) install it
    or
    b) read the manual

    I'm going to,
    • Read Manual
    • Instal it
    • Play Normal Speed Game on Standard Map
    • Then Look At The SDK (Provided It Comes With One)
    • Play Final Frontier
    • Begin MODing
    That's my todo list.:D

Don't think EB will appreciate me installing it on their PC's. :p

Install it to look at the opening screens, check the new leaderheads, then sit down and read the manual.

Next try the thing that got my interest the most from reading the manual.

    Probably an advanced start

Maybe play Final Frontier, at least for a while. I like to play the new scenarios first because there is a more obvious, instantly visible difference- playing a normal game would require you to get pretty far in before seeing any major changes.

My list is similar to Zebra 9s.

    1. Install game (flick through manual while installing)
    2. Play a few normal games to get a feel for the changes
    3. Mod it to my liking

Probably Charlemagne's Conquests... but not sure. Maybe the WWII scenario. Or a quick game.

After i install it and have lurked around in the pedia for awhile. I'll probably play my usual game: Standard terra, epic, 12 civs and a few others tweaks.
I've never been a fan of scenarios, but eventually i'll probably give the WWII scenario a whirl.

I think my first game will be Huge/Marathon/ terra map as Portugal. I want to find out how much synergy there is for finding and settling new continents.

I'd probably try all the different leaders first. Like Pericles and Boudica.

Read up on all the interesting info about new units, civs etc...

Probably start an epic game using an archipelago map and engage in acts of heinous piracy, playing as Queen Boudica.

First, I will use the holy scissors to remove the divine case from it's packaging. Then I shall bless it 50 times to try and remove all malfunctions. Then I shall place the great disc into the computer. As it configures I will study the holy tome known as 'the instruction manual' so I may devise how to suceed in this great undertaking. Finally, when all is readied I shall initiate the simulation and begin the battle to conquer the virtual reality known as 'Beyond the Sword'.

So, basically i'll play a normal game. :D

First off, I'll play a few epic games to try some of the new civs and leaders, then I'll give the Crossroads of the World and WWII scenarios a go.
