We can't get a time victory if we just "hang on". Both India and China have much higher population than the US, and are starting to catch up techwise. This means in civ terms their score will overtake the US by 2050 unless we make major territorial and population gains before then.

Incorrect. Bush wants to go back to the moon, so in Civ terms he's rebuilding the Apollo wonder.

When he's not looking for a silver bullet, he's trying to re-hash the successes of previous presidents. The guy acts more like a (bad) CEO than a president.
