What's Ctrl-Break?

I'm assuming it's activated by holding down Control on your keyboard and pressing another key, but how do you do it?

Pause would be the key you use to do Ctrl-Break. Or Ctrl-C, does the same think.

Usually used in DOS/Cmd mode, I don't think I've seen it used in Windows. Might be used in a modem program, tho.

Basically, if you're in dos, and do a DIR command on a big directory, Ctrl-C/Break will stop the output.

Yep... its the same thing as CTRL-C in DOS Prompt.... its used by pressing CTRL and Pause/Break (The key on the top right of your Insert, Delete, Home, End etc... keys)

It doesn't do anything in Windows as far as I know though.
