Has anyone had that experience? I've always been fascinated by snakes, venom and poison.

I want to experience what it'll be like.

Whoah don't go all Cleopatra on us Bast!

I was going to make a Cleopatra joke too.

There are no snakes in Ireland and I hope to never encounter them.

I was going to make another joke but thought better of it.

Even venomless snakes bite if you bother them enough. Is it the venom you want to experience ot just being bitten by a snake?

Is there something about Cleopatra and snakes I don't know? Actually I know every little about Cleopatra. Could anyone elaborate?

I'm told being bitten by a rattlesnake is one of the most painful experiences you can endure (short of torture of course).

So roam around our deserts a while, eventually it may happen.

She supposedly killed herself by letting an asp bite her.

Also Bast has an interest in historical female leaders.

hemotoxin or neurotoxin?

I've seen a bunch of snakes, but no never been bitten. People who have been bitten by copperheads say its painful. For some reason the copperheads were getting more numerous in the county last year but they all disappeared this year.

Not so much to do with snakes, but her other area of excellence involved biting being generally discouraged.

I was bitten on the tip of a finger by a small , non-venomous, garden snake once. It was not painful at all (two little pinpricks) but it was a surprisingly jarring experience. I had never been afraid of snakes before that, and for the most part I'm still not, but I doubt I'll ever pick one up again. I think something about the sight of that arched neck and wide-open fanged mouth is just hard-wired in us to be scary, even in a small snake that we know rationally to be harmless.

it definitely is hardwired. I've watched an hilarious video with a huge tiger jumping away like a scared kitty from a tiny harmless snake in the grass. I'd link it, but google is hardwired to think I want animal porn no matter what I search for that is related, and I don't want any of that. what kind of sick world do we live in where searching "animaltube" only yields bestiality porn? damn people, you scary.
