What's up with Hotmail?

I logged into my hotmail account as usual. Thing is instead of my inbox there's a message saying I don't have one.

I want my emails back!

Hotmail sucks, use GMail.

You need to log in every x months or your emails get deleted. Every main email provider does this, but I believe gmail has the best policy in regards to this

Well, I just can't log in to Hotmail today at all. When I type in my password and click 'Sign In', it just brings up the same screen again, without my password.

Edit: Okay, it's working now. Maybe just a browser problem.

This is why you log in every so often unfortunately. I have had it happen before to me. Luckily all I lost was about 6 months of accumaleted spam (I never actually use my hotmail for email, just msn.). But I'd agree with Dachs: Gmail is better.

You don't need to use hotmail for msn, you can sign any email address up as a Windows Live ID.

That's true nowadays, but it wasn't back when I signed up. And I don't want to change it again as I know 5 or 6 people who never update things when you tell them to (phone numbers, emails, msn etc.)

Hotmail is a pain in the butt. I'm switching to gmail for my main actually important e-mails.

Hotmail often rejects my password the first time or two I enter it, so annoying!
