What's your favorite place to visit and why?

I've only been to NY once and it was just a few months before 9/11. It really was an experience even though just a quick long weekend trip. I would never live there though..just too big and too New York , but really should go again if not least for the culture and food.

Long weekends (or less) is actually how I've only ever experienced it, so I can't rule out the possibility that I'd get sick of it after a while.
