I was always partial to Kangaskhan, mainly because she was so freaking hard to catch in the 1st Gen Safari Zone. But my favourite is Lucario.

Ampharos is extremely pro. It was pretty creepy finding out that that was Bill's favorite, too.

also I am a big fan of Dragonair

Is there a Pokemon that simply self-destructs and withers away without harassing pokemon-allergical people like my spouse and myself? If yes, then that one's definitely our favorite. :p

I don't know about that, but there is certainly a Pokemon that "self destructs". I'm afraid Voltorb tends to only be knocked unconscious by its explosion though instead being truly destroyed.

I find it quite strange that so many people here have kept up with all the recent additions. I lost all interest before the count had reached 200.

The Charmander tree is always awesome and the Ghastly tree would be my second favourite.

I always liked Spiritomb as my favourite, simply because running the Hypnosis/Dream Eater/Confuse Ray/Shadow Sneak set pisses everyone off online.

I liked the ghosts (gastly haunter gengar) and gyrados. Abra line is cool too. Moltres and articuno are ballers.

For the show as a kid I would have liked squirtle (squirtle squad) and charmander/charmeleon/charizard. IIRC the fire gym episodes were my favourite ever (and I also would have liked magmar; ep 58 and 59 according to bulbapedia).

As far as the games I often loved gyrados, especially since he can use blizzard. It's my general policy that I don't use the legendary pokemon (ie. masterball articuno then insta-win w/ blizzard). Jolteon is incredible in the game as well.

Eevee. When "Change your profile picture to a Pokemon" month came up, obviously I had to pick the cutest and the BEST one.

P.S. I pretty much only considered the original 151. All the newfangled Pokemon obviously SUCK.
