However, outside of Maryland it's polarizing; it's either distinctive and cool or gaudy and ugly.
Why dont they have a state flag? What flags do they fly in front of their capitol building, just the American flag? Do other states also not have flags?
This is the most I've been interested in America in a while. But I'm learning a lot so keep it coming. No wonder I'm subbed to /r/vexillology
They have the odd shaped thing they use as a flag.
Burgee is a new word though so that's cool.
Guns and weapons also don't like. Not to many stars or stripes either.
I never noticed the city's flag the entire time I lived near it...

Whoever says that isn't a flag is wrong.
