When are challenges going to be fixed?

This is bothering me tremendously. It would be one thing if they are achievements with no value, but these are built into the game and provide experience with real rewards. I just had an antiquity game with Ashoka and got both of his quests...and neither triggered in the challenges when completed. That is experience lost. I hope they fix this basic thing. It also seems it isn't consistent. Different leaders have different amounts. Some have none at all.

Does anyone know the trigger for quests? Are they random or do you need to meet certain criteria? For Ashoka, both of his clearly say research mysticism, but others tend to be more vague if there is a trigger.

Now I just noticed I have the dual legacy path with world renouncer even though I have never been him? Are those two personas linked incorrectly? I also got it for world conquerer for what it is worth...

This is really annoying me as well. Just a few of the bugged ones that I've found.......

I've completed 15 out of the 16 "Tutorial" challenges and the only one not unlocked is "The True Civilization Starts Here" which ironically requires "Complete all the other tutorial challenges".

In the "Milestone" section, I've unlocked "Reach a Legacy Path milestone with 15 different leaders" and "Reach a Legacy Path milestone with 15 different Civs" but haven't unlocked "Reach a Legacy Path milestone with 10 different leaders" or "Reach a Legacy Path milestone with 10 different Civs".

I've also done "Finish all 3 ages in a game, finishing 2 Legacy Paths in each Age" more than once and it hasn't popped either!

The "Pincushion" achievement for doing a ranged attack with a Commander with five units also doesn't work.

Yes, there seems to be a wrong link there. I‘ve never played WR, but he is on level 2 for me. I‘ve played WC though.

Just confirmed that I got dual legacies for exploration as well for him but not WC who I am playing. Hopefully playing WR will get them on world conquerer.... I know how two for him who I never played as.

I have all tutorial unlocked so I can at least say those work...for me at least.
Only one I don't have is for 15 leaders which is probably because I haven't been 15 yet so these are working for me. ( I am on PC BTW)
I did this one and it didn't unlock the first time, but I make sure to try to have "perfect" games each time so I have unlocked this since.
Pin cushion definitely does not unlock.

I finish quests all the time and several leaders are showing no quests completed for me so that is a big miss.

I've noticed a while back that reloading a game while in the game breaks the link to the previous age challenges (you get the LOC_STRING_ nonsense instead of the actual text), and since then I have been always exiting to menu on the rare occasion where I need to reload. It might be a complete placebo effect, but I have had decent luck with most of the unlocks in antiquity since then.

However, the challenges for modern age quests flat out don't work. I have 1 Antiquity and 1 Exploration quest on most of the leaders I've played, and exactly none of the Modern ones. I have made saves just before completion (e.g. at 7/8 endevours as Lafayette and just before starting 8th), and tried reloading it in variety of ways. It just refuses to budge.

I know fixing things like that can't be much harder than it looks - I've spent enough years writing code myself - but the 0% success rate of this one is straight up baffling.

Nobody really knows, it’s not on the “beyond” roadmap and they have so much stuff they need to fix it’s hard to say.
