I found a shiny almost brand new phone in Chicago once, on the ground. We were near a transit station, so I walked over to one of the dudes working there and handed it to him, thinking he'd put it in a lost n found box or whatever. He looked at me like I was some sort of alien. Like nobody ever does this in Chicago when they find a phone on the ground, and the vast majority of people just swipe it? I hope he didn't swipe it himself
