Where can I find older patches?

I'm currently running the original non patched civ3. I did try 1.17, but I'm basically frustrated by the AIs who never seem to go to war with each other. Reading these posts I can only guess it's because they're so keen to trade techs with each other.

Is it possible to still download earlier patches? I can't find them anywhere.

Moderators, civfanatics types, would this not be a good service to offer at Civfanatics? Have a thread with old patches saved in the same place as all the mods are archived (hold on, maybe there IS such a thing)?

I have not yet patched with EITHER, but plan to patch at least to 1.16 so I can stop attacking every civ that builds a bomber for my own protection.

But given what I've heard about 1.17, it's starting to sound like that's the "Call to Power AI" patch, and frankly, I don't want Call to Power, I just want the original cool civ3, only with air power that works.
