Where can I get accurate maps?

I installed TAC hoping to find some accurate maps and not one where the Dutch and the Inca are located where modern Argentina was built. I heard there are Mods out there in which the colonial starting place and the location where the natives live are accurate. Can someone point me out to any links which have accurate maps please?
Or can anyone show me where I can get an editor?
