Where can you build watermill?

It seems that your workers can't build watermills on all riverside tiles. Some one says watermill cannot be built if another watermill is nearby, or if it's on a river corner. Is that true?

Can't build them on corners, but you can build them next to each other.

u know...when the river turns? since the rivers follow the grid lines, whena river turns, it turns at a 90 degree angle. so one grid has river on 2 sides, and one only has the point where the river turns. Thats the grid (or corner as phungus420 said) that cant build watermill

Both these 2 tiles? Or just the one with one point where the river turns?

You have to have an access to a river in the tile where you want to build a watermill!

If I'm not mistaken, you can't build watermills in both squares sharing the same piece of river, but only in one of them.

1) Not on the corner of the river.

2) Can't have two watermills on opposite sides of the same river.

Yeah it has to be on a square that has a river running along the side of it, and another one can't be built on the square on the other side of that river...

IIRC, watermills have to be built in flat terrain...
