Where do I find the version number?

Hope this isn't too stupid a question, but how can I find out which version I'm running? I got a boxed copy of BtS for Xmas, and I'm hoping it's patched to 3.17, but how do I confirm that? Is there some kind of "about box" somewhere, or something lurking in the XML that would tell me?
