Anyone else in Atlanta?
Where is Finland? Oh I forgot that this is a Swedish thread
Cool, 7 other people from Canada, maybe we can get together and play Civilization boardgame.
The Avalon Hills game? That one is a great addictive game too. Just hard to find at least 5 other people with a good 12 straight hours to kill...lol
Oh boy, are you in for it now. You lumped Spain (and Portugal) and Serbia in with the rest of Europe. On second thought, had you included Spain then certain separatist groups might have taken umbrage (whatever that is) and declared you unfit to continue to take up space. That's why my ancestors left Europe - to escape the umbrage (also the haggis).
Darn! You should have put Norway/Denmark/Sweden/Finland/Iceland together. There are probably more Civ players from Finland and Iceland than Sweden and Norway. Denmark of course stands up.
The rest of Europe for me!
12 as of this post. We're doing pretty good for ourselves, considering our population is 1/10th of the US.
Umbrage is an earthy, deep yellowish-brown mineral pigment which, in 15th- through 16th-century Cornwall and Devonshire, one painted upon one's face to indicate that the paintee was in a confrontational, belligerent mood. Thus, to "take umbrage" meant to "picke up ye pottle of that horryd cosmeticke" (John Dryden, Master Vouchsafe and Mistress Porphyria, 1645) in response to some assault, affront, slight, etc.
[Note: The above is almost entirely nonsense. But not quite entirely.]
It's also that mean lady on Harry Potter...
USA, by the way
Crikey! I suppose that means Australia.
Put me up for australia too
Jackson, Michigan, USA.
The birthplace of the Republican Party. At least according to a beat-up old sign downtown.
Adelaide, Australia here
"I come from the land 'somewhere else'
Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
I'm From the Uk. How many Polish people play CIV? Amusing you missed out alot of the developed world, yet included "South America". (I know some s. American countries are rich, but most aren't)
Lol, now you are just degraded to being "the Rest of Europe" with us Finns.
I'm from Sweden, and I live in Sweden.
Separate names with a comma.
