Where is the city view?

Like in civ 3, where you see all the improments to your city and all its wonders? Also, I've buit my palace...but no one is offering to improve it, is this supposed to happen?

ehhh... shouldn't the improvements just show up on the world, if you zoom in enough...

The game itself is the vity view now. Just zoom in all the way and you'll see everything in the city.

There is no palace improvement screen now.

There is no palace improvement screen now.

There was supposedly going to be a Throne Room ala Civ2, but clearly it's not in the game at this time.
