Where is the music

I've played the game into the midevil ages and I have yet to hear any of the soundtrack. ALL my sound preferences are turned ON. Is this normal? I thought the music was supposed to be awesome. haha...what happened? I'm bummed out from this. Something must not be right. Also the wonder vidoes music skips.

also, the music files are in my civ 4 folder. wonder why i cannot hear them during the game??

im off to bed, this is Bull****. Cannot believe the damn soundtrack will not play??? this is bizzare. I;'ve got an audiophile USB external soundcard, not sure if this has anything to do with it or not. But all my audio on my computer works perfectly fine. WTH!

Is it a bug or not...
I tend to hear music very rarely during the game although everything is turned on. Is it supposed to be like that?? (European version)

I hear music and sound effects most of the time, but when I build a wonder, the music and sound effects sound very choppy, as if the cpu is at 100%.

hi, first time posting. I was wondering if anyone has figured out this problem. I can hear all sounds, but only the background music does not play. I tried all the settings and turning music on/off switch. I have intstalled the latest patch (v1.52). I'm using a laptop with a soundmax soundcard. I've never had problems with it before.
