Where to get the happiness Icons?

After reading the war forums and newbie hints, there seems to be a concensus that icons which indicate how happy your citizens are is a good mod for the game. Which graphic mods are they specifically referring to (I play the regular civ 3 version, btw).

They're called pophead moodbadges, and are in the Creation & Customization Forum. I'll look for them.

Are there any other mods that are highly recommended?

Yes, Snoopy's terrain modpack (there's several versions of it - I use the older one). There's also Warpstorm's Watercolor terrain.
