I was hoping to play a mutiplayer game of C4 Warlords but the gamespy room's empty.

Sorry to sound like a noob, but what's the "vanilla lobby" and how do I get there?

I noticed the first dropoff of players just after there was a software update, but then the next time I logged in (yesterday) there were only 2 people in the lobby and neither would respond to my messages

When people talk about "vanilla" they mean the original civ4 without expansions. Dont ask me why, lol.

yeah original and BTS lobby have lots of players. Especialy BTS.

sure u can. just put in your original civ4 CD and play!!!
