Which Civs/Nations do you want in the first Expansion for CivV?

I revise the list and added it to the first post ;)

Awesome, though I noticed you didn't add bulgaria.
Now whether people know it or not, bulgaria has played
a MAJOR roll in world history. But my main reason for
suggesting this is because Bulgaria is the most famous
of the South Slavic Countries, though serbia would
no doubt have more south slavic ties, it did not
have the extensive history that bulgaria did.

I'll add it to the Wanted list ;)

BTW, anyone other than me who would like to see an Argentina civ?

Well, as much as you would like to see it, it would be
a waste of space to add, why? Because Argentina is NOT
a major player in the events of world history, it exists soley
because it was a colony of spain. Now america was a colony,
but it is a special case in the massively profound impact it has
has in it's short history. Not only did america defeat Britain, the
strongest empire at the time, but it also expanded land faster then
even Ivan the Terrible of Russia did, and it did this on it's own.

Now considering as America is the ONLY former-colony to have done
such impressive things, it will also be the only former-colony to be added.

No offense to you, but this is why we will never see any civs like Canada,Argentina, or Australia as civs.

I guess it will probably not, mainly because it have not had the big History. No offense, but that is why I will not add it to the Wanted list, just as I did not add Argentina.

If Malaysia isn't in the next expansion, I'm going to piss of my computer.

I don't have anything against malaysia but, how many famous leaders
do you know of that lead a mighty malaysian country? And I'm not
talking about city states, I'm talking about a REAL powerful country
that existed before malaysia became a colony.

The thing is, most of the civs that people want to add, will never be
added.

I think he meant in some countries. Maybe we could have Hebrews in western version and some other in another version.

I have to disagree here too. The Islamic world respects Judaism and the Bible and sees them as predecessors to Islam. The disagreement between Jews and Muslims now is about current events, not about ancient history. The common people in Iran, for example, regard the Jews as brothers. My suggestion is to add ANCIENT Israel to the game, not the modern controversial one.

Yeah, I support that... except I think Rabin would be a good leader to... he was close in the peacemaking prosess... a shame that someone killed him.

Perhaps a poll should be made in a seperate topic to determine what
should be in the 'official' want list for new civs. That way there
would be a basis for sending in a want list to firaxis.

For me, Israel is a dealbreaker. I am playing Civ 5 a lot right now but if there willbe no Israel civilizaiton mod, I will stop playing it. Everything about it (Leader, units, cities should be familiar to everyone and Israel today is still a (albeit through many twists and turns) continuation of the original civilization. So I believe its leader should be David (who expanded the empire the most), its special building should be theTemple, which should give a lot of culture points (with a high maintenace cost), and its untis should be the Macabee and the Merkava tank which is harder to kill and quicker to recover.
