A cultural victory as Attila or a diplomatic victory as Genghis?

I'm playing as the latter right now and bc of all my barbarian slaying to get the most out of the Honor opener, I've been making quite a few accidental CS buddies (Jerusalem has like 150 influence w/ me and it's not even 0 AD yet, all without a dime spent by me). I then contemplated adopting Patronage to maintain friendships, but realized what a smack in the face that is to the "Mongol Terror" UA. Attila going cultural is insulting for obvious reasons.

To answer this question, I must ask... If an AI pulled this on you, which would be more likely to make you throw your computer across the room in a fit of rage?

The only time I've ever played as the Mongols I won Science, not Domination.

To be fair, I did Dominate the hell out of the other AIs anyway... just couldn't be bothered to capture Persepolis as well as all the other capitals

AI Genghis pretty much always goes for dilplo victory in my experience. His UA seems designed to go for it by conquering CSes to grab their votes, but that no longer works - I see him allying with CSes all the time though.

I think you just won the thread.

Beeing called a warmonger by the huns(who conquered the hole continent) wait what? And what are you doing?

Still ticked off for being backstabbed by George Washington.

Lol'd x3.

Just cuz he's a warmonger doesn't mean he can't call you one.

I always go for diplomacy and patronage in G&K. The extra science is just too yummy and the CS bonuses are just a great addition. No matter what kind of a warmonger I am I almost never conquer CS unless it's in a strategic position.

Playing as Germany with a GG 'Montgomery' and encountering Britain with a GG 'Rommel'.

If I'm Mongolia, I always wipe out the City-States. Sure, it means I don't get the bonuses, but neither does Siam, Greece, or anyone else.

Plus the City-State cities usually have good locations.

I think this was pretty insulting to Korea today.

Korean army - Rocket Artillery (lots), Mobile SAMs (a few), Tanks (a few), and Infantry (lots)
My Greek army - 6 x Great War Bombers, 10 x Infantry, 3 x Cossacks

Korea was trying to invade me at our borders (we had 3 cities that border) with probably about 20 units consisting of 2 Mobile SAMs, 3 Tanks, about a half dozen Rocket Artillery, and about 10 Infantry and he also added another support wave w/ one Mobile SAM, a few more Rocket Artillery, and a bunch more Infantry.

Not only did I end up destroying them all (and I only lost about 4 Infantry), but I ended up taking one of his cities to boot, LOL

It helped that all my units started at Level 4 (Basically Level 5 for Infantry since they got Drill I as a bonus promotion from Alhambra) and I had taken the Honor and Order trees, so I had some nice bonuses to defense. By the end of the battle, my GWBs all had Bombardment I & II, Logistics, Evasion, Air Repair, and Air Ambush I while my remaining Infantry all had Drill I, II, & III, Blitz, and March

I had Attila ask for peace once and he said we should not let war define who we are. I almost spit pop all over my monitor when I saw that. Attila doesn't want war to define who he is? Am I playing the right game?
