Which is the best Lovecraft-inspired adventure game?

Simple question I have only played a couple. Infogrames' Shadow of the comet is a classic, of course

(maybe a bit stretching it with the forum choice; mostly meant to get the audience of the OT but if mods decide Cthulhu ordains otherwise...)

Except for Bloodborne existing, I'd have said it was an easy call for System Shock 2.

Aren't those mentioned (at best) action-adventures? (in the style of Silent Hill). I was thinking more of a puzzle-based game

Its more hide and seek + easy puzzle. With an heavy atmosphere/story.

If youare looking for points and clicks i dont really know.

I don't like puzzle-based games, they're bad at pacing. Other than Portal, Portal was pretty cool.

It is a very nice adventure, but i am not seeing anything particularly lovecraftian in it
