personally, it's pangea or continents for me.

i really really like pangea, but you lose a major aspect of the game (naval).

I like weird, gnarly coastlines and island chains, but I care more for complex, pressing geopolitics. So I've enjoyed pangea lately.

I like lots of Islands, because it is easier to expand on it :)

Only problem is that corruption is a problem on the other islands... because it is far away of your capital because of the ocean.
And wonders as "counts as a temple on each city on the continent"... is not worth that much as on pangea...

Personally I prefer Pangea.

Continents for me. There's nothing like mastering all your neighboring enemies early in the game, then building up and in the industrial/modern age playing D-Day with whoever had the temerity to demand tribute from you during the age of sail.

I like islands and the use of naval forces.....

Pangaea of course. I don't expect to make that many transports
:D

i just play on random ut i think its mostly pangea

I prefer continents. Mainly because I like ressemblance to Earth. In the story in my head usually (you too build a story in your head, don't you?) usually one of those is America and the other is Europe/Asia. And you might have noticed that there is usually a smaller island somewhere, which happen to be Australia in my stories.

I tried Islands (I can't spell nor pronounce the word for that) once but I don't like using naval that much. I tried Pangea once and quickly found how it turns to a massive war :p I must try Middle Earth one day... once I'm done winning at Regent :)

Huge pangea, cold temperatue and normal humidity, 5 million years old gives you the best results.

It's true.

... can't say I do ...

Continents here. If I feel up for something a little more in depth, than I do archipelago.

I voted Pangea, because it fits my play style the most. I tend to be a builder until I get Cavalry, then I dominate any civilisations which I have borders with. I detest having to ship my units to another continent, and even if I do win the war, I get a crippled & distant colony as a reward.
