Well, the last one got locked so here is the newest.

I actually watched 3 movie today!!

I saw I Am Legend for the second time, and liked it just as mcu has the first. It was very intense.

I also saw Superbad for the second time, and thought it was even funnier than the first time. Definately one of the funniest movies ever.

I saw Fight Club for the first time and liked it quite a bit. It had it's ups and downs, but I actually really liked the ending.

I saw National Treasure 2. What an idiotic plot, and not even in the good way.

"I am legend" = GARBAGE.

I saw Fight Club 2 days ago as well. I thoroughly enjoyed it :D.

Thank you for your enlightening take and critique on the movie.. wait what?

I saw NT2 as well, what a cheap lame cash in that was even more outlandish than the first movie. You need quite a bit of suspension of disbelief for this

I saw National Treasure 2. It was really outlandish. But I put my brain on not-think and it was okay. I saw it with friends and we made jokes about it, so it's cool.

Tomorrow I'm going to watch Pan's Labyrinth. I heard it was excellent.

You nailed it; NT2 is the type of movie which is best to watch with friends to ridicule it for mutual enjoyment.

Pan's Labyrinth isn't quite as suited for this though. :mischief:

just saw Citizen Kane for the first time, it was as great as they say!!!

I watched Over the Hedge with my family. It was okay. There were a couple of rather funny scenes, one that got me to bark a laugh.

As promised/threatened in the previous thread I have watched some Bollywoodesque movie to see more of the utterly stunning Aishwarya Rai, just getting my feet wet with some Bollywood light.

Bride and Prejudice (no that is not a typo)

Apparently by the makers of Bend it like Beckham it's a Bollywood take on Jane Austen's book. Fun movie, fun music, fun characters and I even shed a single, perfect tear at the happy end (yes I always get teary with romcoms and I am not ashamed to admit it).

Next stop on the Aishwarya Ra obsession express train: Guru

Here are my holiday movie reviews.

1. Sweeny Todd: Liked the movie, albeit you get what you expect; blood, blood and more blood. Great music, great visuals. Worth seeing if you are not squeemish.

2. Charlie Wilsons War. I actually liked this one. It gives some very poignant insight to that era and what was going on 'behind the scenes'. Not entirely true, but true enough to hit home. Very entertaining.

3. National Treasure 2. If you see it, go on a matinee price. Its the same movie basically as the first one with less clues and less originality. Ok, but entirely what you would expect from that type of sequel....i.e. they want to make money off the originals popularity and didnt really do anything innovative.

4. I am Legend. Like the movie overall. Didnt really like how the CGI portrayed the infected - it gave the movie that 'Beowulf' feel that I have a hard time getting into. Will Smith does a good job.

I got snowed in at my friend's place on new years day.. Fortunately he has a movie theatre downstairs complete with a 120 inch high definition projector and surround sound.. not to mention video games of all sorts, including rock band.

In any case, I forget what we watched because we got high.
