whipping it

i just instated the slavery civic and i really need to finish my monument to gain culture and expand cause the enemy is on my doorstep
the town has 2 population and i want to whip the monument , but i cant find how to do this anywhere :s

help plz?

I don't have the game open so I won't be able to say exactly. But I remember that you go into the city and look at the bottom of the screen. Towards the middle, next to the list of units, there will be a small toolbar for making your ciy focus on research, or gp production, etc. At the top of that tool bar is a button for whipping your population into hammers. SInce your city is so small it may be shaded, but if you hover over the button it will tell you how big your city needs to be before you can whip the building.
