You only get to pick ONE (1) Team! :yup:

No saying lame things to try and pick both teams so you can claim "See I was right!" or "We won!" or "I'm happy with the result" regardless of who wins... that's lame ... By all means explain/defend your pick but don't hedge, because that's lame:thumbsdown:

Lame things people say for the Super Bowl (to try to justify picking both teams)
:

1. I WANT Team X to win but I THINK Team Y will win = Lame

2. I HAVE TO cheer for Team X (because my cousin, best friend etc is affiliated, or I have some other "connection" to the team) but I also WANT TO see Team Y win because (I'm from the town, or near it or have some other "connection" to the team) = Lame

3. I THINK Team X is the better team and SHOULD win but I'm PULLING FOR Team Y (because "I think XYZ player is a really good person" or "I hate so and so" or "Player XYZ is my favourite at so-and-so position" or some other reason/connection (see #1 and #2) = Lame

4. I'm not a fan of either team so I don't care who wins... but if I have to pick I'd say (see #1,2 or 3) = Lame

Just pick ONE team

I want the Eagles to win but I think the Chiefs will win, even tho the Eagles have Jalen Hurts and the Chiefs don't have any Alabama players at all. And tbf the Chiefs probably are the better team, but Hurts has always been such a class guy all the way back to college, it's just impossible not to pull for him. But really idc about the NFL and whoever wins is fine, I'd just like a good game that ends with the Chiefs losing bc they don't have Jalen Hurts even tho they are probably the better team . . .

At the beginning of the year (before football season started) I made a number of bets, and the Chiefs were one of the few teams I made a bet to win the super bowl. I make money if the Chiefs win and don't make money if the Eagles win, and therefore I want the Chiefs to win as I want to make money. I can't explain why I THINK the Chiefs will win because that would be lame!

I'm an Eagles fan so my choice is obvious but I do wish we are playing Buffalo instead. Would have been a more fun game.

KC plays really boring football. Dink and dunk control the ball it works since their defense is really good but it doesn't make for a fun time to watch. Buffalo under Allen is basically their opposite playing super risky. More fun to watch.

As long as there's a fair, competitive game with no injuries, I think we're all winners

but I think the Chiefs will win.

The graphic Fox is using is boooring.

No strong feeling around either team, but I guess the Eagles?

Last 7 offensive plays for KC: 3 sacks, 2 interceptions 1 of which is a pick 6, 1 play for positive yards. This is over

Lmao. This has to be a record.

Well this is fun.

Chiefs o-line was just no match for the eagles defense. It sucks as a chiefs fan, but I’d rather the eagles win than the Bills, Bengals, or Ravens.

We have been seeing this coming as the season went along. The offensive line has been their achille's heel, it seems to me.

Man that loss to TB right before the bye really did make this Eagles team. Was the ass kicking they needed to get the defense in gear.

Yeah, pretty sad game.

Eagles certainly outplayed them!! They deserved to win.
I thought the game was great! Loved every minute:yeah:

The Eagles were clearly the better, stronger team, but one big difference in this Superbowl, was that the officials seemed to abandon the season-long practice of propping the Chiefs up, especially in close/critical situations. Without the refs patronage, the Eagles were able to steamroll the Chiefs.

Wrong player got MVP, that should have gone to someone on Eagles defense. Eagles defense won the day for them, no question. The Lions had an elite offensive line this year and this Eagles defense sliced through it like bread. This game confirmed that wasn't a fluke.
