"The KKK won't trouble me at all, neither will any neo-Nazis. I don't have anything to fear from homophobes and I don't see anybody hijacking a plane and flying it into Cardiff city centre."

So, I guess if something happened in London, you wouldn't care? What if something happened to the Queen? That would be no big deal to you? What if Big Ben were knocked down? No big deal? Even that would bother me - - -

Totally irrelevant. You said I should look at the real threat and then I "won't be able to sleep at night". You suggest I made the wrong choice as "Worrying about the Klan stuck out in the hills won't get you anywhere".

As I have already informed you, I did not make my decision based on fear. I did not nominate the KKK as they are more likely to hurt or attack me in any way.

And even if I had done, I have nothing to fear from any of these groups. An attack in London would have no greater direct impact on me than an attack in New York.

If something happened to the Queen? I really couldn't care less...

But the point is, I am not in any danger from these groups. And even if I were it wouldn't make any difference. Simply because I have not made my decision based upon fear. I answered the question "Who do you hate more?" not "Who do you fear more?".

OK, as long as you're safe out there in Cardiff – that’s all that matters. If you don't lose sleep over the possibility of an attack on your capital, there's something wrong with you. London is vulnerable and that should be of national concern. As for the Queen, I don't believe you. That would upset most Americans & I think even the good people of Cardiff would be touched.

Are you listening to me? I did not answer the question based on my fears, I did not say I would not care if a terrorist attack or similar took place. In London or anywhere else.

I answered the question "Who do you hate more?". I answered the KKK.

    It's simple really.

    Cardiff is my capital!

So London is vulnerable. I don't see your point. I know that, there are many vulnerable cities in the world. But you suggested I should change my vote based on the fear of being involved in an attack. Well put simply, I don't see that happening.

I did not vote out of fear. For one, that's not what the question asked. Also, I have nothing to fear personally so that would be a pointless exercise.

Why the hell am I supposed to care about the Queen? Why is anybody supposed to?

i don't care about some European Monarch. i would be sad if she died only because of the charity organizations she runs, not because she is a Queen.

I agree with those who say it makes not much sense to answer the question.
But that's not because I'd automatically say that all of those groups are "equally bad", it is because the poll as it is worded leaves only one real option.

The KKK, the Nazis and the Homophobes are mentioned as a general group, while the Fundamentalists are specified as terrorists. That implies the last group is actually acting against those they hate while the others might "just" hate.

When whoever of those four comes to acting according to their hatred, meaning seeking to kill those they hate, that becomes equally worse indeed.
But when you talk about the groups from an ideological point of view that could be different.

The Neo-Nazis (which is no constant, as Simon mentioned) and the KKK are pretty much comparable in that sense, while the Homophobes "only" hate some of those the others hate, with Neo-Nazis and the KKK actually being Homophobes.
The fundamentalist muslims are not to keen about Homosexuals too, by the way, so the third option is not really necessary.

So what's left? A question if White supremacists in the wider sense are better or worse than Islamic fundamentalists. Or in other words, if racial hatred is better or worse than religious hatred.
Though I agree that an answer on that is pretty much pointless I want to say one thing about it. Theoretically you can change your religion, but you can't change your race...

No-one is, exept 21 moronic muslims who are now dead anyway. The 9-11 thing happened nearly two years ago, and from that moment there were no terrorists that hijiacked planes and flew them into tall buildings.

Terrorist threat is all fictional brain spinnings to me, and I feel kind of sorry to those who actualy fear it.
If we need to guard skyscrapers, aitports, airplanes and goverment buildings, backgroundcheck foreigners and muslims, check all people traveling with airplanes and spend a hundred billion US dollar to prefent 'international terrorism', then I ask myself 'Why now? Why didn't we did it five or ten years ago?'

9-11 only proves one thing to me, people can be manipulated very easily by media and goverments.

Okay, I can derive a number of very provocative attitudes from what you've said.

    1. Terrorist threats are fictional? People die every day at the hands of terrorists all over the world. It wasn't fictional for the 3,700 dead civilians in WTC, and it wasn't for the 20-or-more killed in the double-length city bus in the streets of Tel Aviv.
The threat of terrorism is not gone because 21 hijackers are dead. Don't you think the raised awareness and activity of the Western intellligence agencies have had something to do with the apparent inactivity of terrorists lately? I think it has. The war on terror is very real - and so is the threat.
That said, I do not think we should all begin taping up our houses, snitch on each other, or change our basic way of living. And I'm not prescribing a certain way of fighting terror.

    2. Why we didn't do it 20 years ago? Perhaps we did. Do you really think that the threat of terrorism will be gone in 20 years - even if we do the right thing? Terrorism can't be "fixed" and previous apathy or wrong deeds do not justify inaction.

    3. 9-11 was about manipulation? That's probably one of the sickest remarks I've seen from you sofar. I doubt that's what you meant.
This is not a conspiracy. Bush didn't "push the button", the Jews didn't organise this, this is not neo-conservatism in action - it is terrorism.

But I have a feeling you're going to clarify your statements. If not, they could be seen as inflammatory. Flaming is banned on this site.

Oh, and BTW, I cannot possibly hope to say which of the mentioned groups of sickos in the poll is the worst.

it isn't rascist to hate a black person. it is rascist to hate a person because they are black(or any other race, for that matter).
