Who Gets to Be a CIVILIZATION? - Between the Lines

I noticed that Kyle Kallgren (from Brows Held High fame) has released a video essay about the Civilization series. I strongly recommend you giving it a watch.

So does this mean they will add the rising super power of Canada? I'm not kidding I want to play as my nation after all these games without mods. Also more cool Native American civs. It's time for an epic Council of Three Fires vs Iroquois Confederation royal. Also I like the video a lot. I think from a game play point morphing society and culture over eras would be complicated to keep track of. It can easily be done, but would it be fun and what mechanics could be derived to add to the game from them?

It seems to be the direction we're headed towards. Maybe one day, we'll even see India as several separate civs. *fingers crossed*

Don't forget that Canada is the country with the most Civ players that has never been represented in any main Civ game as a full civ outside of mods according to Steam and is third overall.
