small update- maybe because of that in a recent Gallup Korea poll his approval rate fell... yet again to 24% from 28% last week.
and his disapproval rate increased from 62%to 66%. At this rate before Korea's independence day ( August 18) his approval rating could fall to 20~19% and his disapproval rate could increase to 70~75%! please talk more in this thread about Korean politics:https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/korean-politics-sad-journey-of-one-yoon-bug.677862/page-2

given how most presidents perform when "doing something", i'm not convinced a guy sitting in his room playing video games all day or something is below average :/.

probably not much difference between these two really. someone else is making the vast majority of the decisions for them, and likely filtering what information they even receive. not even in the conspiracy sense, just "what is important to us is what gets passed along" sense.

please:
- write down a list of his policies and its direct cause and your/specialists' speculation and what should happen (in number) if his policy is modified into some other thing you devise and the evidence it should happen that way.
- write down what other action he could have taken and what action he took with results (in number) that causes anything (in number) and the expected result if he took the other way (in number).
- what you did is nothing but meaningless rants and telling people that "he's horsehocky and there are a lot of people thinking like me too". We all know that currently everyone thinking their own country's leadership is horsehocky because we are suffering a global economic downturn by numerous factors and many people are trying very hard to explore the unknown set of policies that potentially gets us out of this(unless corrupted). I believe senile old man in the US is trying his best with his knowledge to get out of a recession.
- nobody knows anything about Korean internal problems so if there is a list with evidences, it would let people draw a meaningful conclusion. meaningful discussion, in my opinion, should try to explore as many aspects as possible. seeking for ranting is meaningless as it does not provide or draw any conclusion but satisfying a demand of an echo chamber.
- i think personal observation is okay in some sense but if it's something like macroeconomic, i don't think it matters much.
- this is not to offend you since i want to have a closer look at a korean progressive's view for discussion purpose (and other private purpose). normally it would take a long time to fill in each gap, expectation and reality diverge at the start but eventually converge when enough information is filled in.
- have a good day.

Look at the poll ( if you can READ Koreans) https://imnews.imbc.com/news/2022/politics/article/6395404_35666.html
the main reason why people don't like him is because his personal appointment of ministers. The economy stuff is only adding fuel to fire. it is NOT a main source of his downfall but rather a fuel for it.
Also look at here for English reaction:https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13996058630A50749900&page=253
( heck this one even has one Korean out crying "our country is damned! F!!@#"

Out of curiosity, how was that 120 hour work week supposed to work? There aren't enough hours in whole week for that, commute and sleep....

Sure there are. You just don't have your state of mind right. There are 168 hours in a week. That leaves 48 hours for you to be a selfish ass. That's 6.8 hours of sleep a night, which is more than I manage to pull in. Eat while you work. What are you giving me during any other time?

Is this in a lab sort of question ? I feel there should be some weighting mechanism for power. Being an American president is a hard handicap.

Absolutely true.
In my country, the last least favourite president... Well, that was over 20 years ago. In his days, people used to say : "Humph, he doesn't do much". Nowadays they're more on the : "Well, he didn't do much harm after all, he's kind of our favourite."
The idea that action is positive is preposterous to begin with.

NB : I don't know nothing about that Korean leader.

May I have a name to google? I'd like to learn.

It isn't just that Yoon isn't doing anything. Rather he is doing nothing at helping Koreans but seems to be going great at giving unfair appointments to his supporters AND securing his own powers in his party.
Like many tyrants.
I am not kidding when I say he is worst leader since Prince Yeonsan.
( some people even go as far as call him Yoon Yeonsan)
