Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the JFK assassination (this Saturday), the History Channel is playing a series called "The Men Who Killed Kennedy." It is interesting stuff. One episode implies LBJ was responsible for / assisted in the killing. Was is a Coup d’Tat?

What are your theories? I tend to believe it was a mixture of factors.

EDIT: BLAST! Spelling sucks!

It was Oswald. If they knew anything else, they would've shared by now.

Was another poll on this yesterday or the day before...

Oswald.

Or, in a brilliant headline on a mock 1963 edition of The Onion,

Kennedy Slain by CIA, Mafia, Castro, LBJ, Teamsters, Freemasons

President Shot 129 Times From 43 Different Angles

based on the paths the bullets took, wasn't it physically impossible for there to be only one gun man?

wasn't it also true that several witnesses in the area claimed to have heard shots from the grassy knoll? (one of the logical places a gunman could have been based on the bullet path?)

To me, the Warren commission's ruling was a farce.

My JFK is a bit rusty, please enlighten me.

Perhaps no one will ever know. I don't think they ever found out who shot JR either.

It was Marge Simpson:lol:

I don't know if it's just my paranoia but something big was going on with that administration. JFK assasinated, Marylyn Monroe assisnated, Bobby Kennedy assasinated. I saw a History Channel show about the amphedameans that JFK was doing during his presidency and the trouble it caused. Marylyn Monroe was about to go public with some white house info before she supposedly committed suicide. Some group somehwhere is hiding something if you ask me.

Basically yes, imagine for a moment the rifle Oswald used, a bolt action, awkward WWII weapon. The rifle wasn't even the most accurate of it's period, say a Lee Enfield, or the fastest, say the Garand. Test firing from marine snipers claimed that they would have difficulty hitting a stationary target 3 times in the short space of time the Zaprudder film and other evidence shows the bullets were fired. Beyond that fact there's the fact that Kennedy's car was a moving target. Oswald should have been declared the best shot ever, his marine tests rated him only about average. Either he faked his tests, or someone else was involved.

Yes. It's also to be noted that it created a good triangulation of fire with Oswald.

Anyone with half a brain could work that out :goodjob: Warren must have either been completely moronic or bought off in some way.

I dunno who had him killed, if I had to guess the evidence would point more to Johnson being involved in some way, but such a conspiracy no doubt, as usual drew on more sources than one, I'd not be suprised if it had been a combination of the above and others.

Lee Harvey Oswald shot him from the building with a gun! I win!

oh wait this isn't clue...

Oswald was a shooter, but evidence was later presented in the 80's that Oswald was probably not the only shooter. I personally believe there was another shooter on the knoll.

Oh well, if we're on the subject of amusing references, the killers was Kennedy himself, supported by:

The last human alive
A lifeform evolved from a cat
A mechanoid
A hologram

Hope that cleared things up :D

Simon Darkshade was in Dallas at the time. Someone should see if Sibling can account for his whereabouts as well......

@cgannon.......I can sympathize with you :D .
