Who uses the Ignore List and Buddy List?

Curious. What are they for?, Chime in if you use them (unless, of course I am on your ignore list. If that's the case )

They are a built in feature of the forum.

I put a few people on my Buddy List just for the sake of doing it. It really isn't worth much: it takes two clicks instead of three to PM someone. :crazyeyes:

Don't use ignore but i use the buddy list now becuase i want to know when the people i'm playing PBEM against are on.

I've never touched the Ignore button, but I've touched "Buddy" a few times. Never intentionally.

Only if their name is hard to remember, like AoA, if you asked me to spell that I'd cry.

I don't use ignore because I think everyone deserves to be heard except those silenced by mods

Yup, same here. I think u-gene, Switch, Rodgers, Lampshade and Perfection have all made it to my buddy list by mistake.

No-one is on my ignore list. I don't see the point.

If one put all mods and TF on Ignore list, then one could say "I didn't get the warning!!!" I use neither.

So if someone is on your ignore list, you can't see any of his/her posts? Is there anyway at all to know when he/she posts (like the posts just being contracted)?

I doubt a moderator would be forgiving of you if you tell him he's on your ignore list.

Oh, and no one is on either of my lists.

I got a couple of people on my buddy list. Easier to PM, than to type in names etc.

I don't use the ignore one at all though. Had avoided all who need to be avoided by avoiding disliked threads in the first place...

I once tried to put TF on ignore (Just to see what would happen) it said you cannot ignore moderators or admins.

I also tried to put myself on ignore but it says you can't ignore yourself
