New site member ... looking to find out about joining a game. As I noted in my bio, I haven't MP'd Civ before, but I've played a bit.

I'm running Civ 2.42, and have the MP utility downloaded from this site ... what should I do next ? Challenge someone ?

I'd like to play. I've got Test of Time. I've never played a multiplayer game tho & only have a 56K modem connection.

I am mostly available for 2-3 hours weeknites after 6 pm Pacific Standard Time (Vancouver Canada GMT -08:00) or for longer periods of time on the weekends (most hours - need to arrange in advance tho so I can get my sleep schedule reoriented in time for work monday & to make sure my wife doesn't kill me or have other ideas)

no sir, its from me. how long do you think i would stand playing against 6 humans, who want to win, who are not as neutral as ai, and are not too smart when it comes to who can attack? and with 1 city? and still win playing spaceship? i dont think ive ever even attempted to beat the game by conquest anything past king level. im not that good. on the economic side yes, militaristic side no.

That time is fine for me. You don't need everyone's IP, just mine. Since my IP changes frequently, I will sign on an hour before the game is supposed to start (at 5 my time) and post my IP. How does that sound?

You're pretty darn knowledgeable of the game, Stellar. You'd last awful long. You've NEVER played MP??? it rocks. lots of fun. Good luck getting everyone together, though.
