[BAbout Real Madrid, I don't think they can do it this season from the game that I saw, they are so.. ..mild (I don't know is it a right word tho)

[/B]

 they were occupied knocking down At Madrid, Barcelona and Deportivo in the spanish league :goodjob:

I would love to see Real Madrid against M Utd again. Wining in Old Traford is soo easy (hope not to have to eat my words :D ).

Seriously, I think that Real Madrid can only be beaten by an italian team (Milan or Juventus). Let's see what happens.

Unfortunatelly for you, Man Utd, having being paired with Porto, won't have the chance to play with Madrid this year. :mischief:

Btw, you're from Coruña and you cheer Madrid beating Depor?...

I was born in Madrid but live in La Coruña. I also like a lot Deportivo, which I consider my second team, but not when they play against Real Madrid.

It would really be funny to see O Porto beating Man Utd. Go Deco :goodjob:

Ok, so that explains why you have La Coruña instead of A Coruña in your location. :D
What's the veredict on Queirós so far?

Well, is quite positive. Real Madrid is on top of the spanish league and doing OK in the champions. On the other hand, I don't know if that's a merit of Queiros. With those players it's really difficult not to perform well.

It can be annoying for the opponent indeed. I remember in the first group game between Porto and Real Madrid. Porto scored and were dominating the game in th first 30 minutes. Then, as if it was nothing, just a demanding of the job, goal for Madrid. And after that, another play (they didn't even need to run), another goal.
But Juventus is still my favourite for this year.

We had Queiros as our Assistant Manager at Man Utd - I've no doubt that he's got great potential - you're right though, I think I and plenty of others could get Real Madrid to #1 ;)

I might even think about buying a defender :)

They both went out. Celta lost to Arsenal and the Arsenal went out to Chelsea :)

Bah, who cares about votes anyway. Look at how many votes Mnchester United have. :D

let's just get it over with and hand FC Porto the cup. That way they might have more EC I end victories than Benfica by the end of the first half of the century.

strange... Monaco has 5 votes all over sudden...
Wrong Willem. This thread is quite old and people had already warned about Monaco sooner :

Monaco will undoubtedly be part of the final 8.
Monaco 8 - 3 La Coruna !!!
Both aren't French I should add.

That doesn't mean that they actually voted for Monaco...
It means that Monaco was a team to watch. Brits are so focused on their premiership that they don't see foreign teams coming.

As a result, I bet Newcastle is glad to meet Marseille in UEFA cup's semis since they think it would be an easy game. And I also bet they've already forgotten Marseille has been victorious from Liverpool and Inter to reach the semis. ;)

I haven't... The point was that Willem was saying that there seems to be more votes for Monaco now that they are in the semi finals whilst you countered this by saying these votes may have already exists but just because someone has posted a vote doesn't mean they have actually voted.
